A vesicular basalt with dunite inclusions (xenoliths)
   

A vesicular basaltic bomb (learn about bombs here: bomb) that has been abraded by exposure in a desert environment resulting in rounded edges. This is a small ventifact.


A cored bomb that was ejected from the volcanic vent, then re-entered the magma (talk about a bad day!) and was ejected again.



Some pumice of variable composition collected at but not attributed to Soda Lake maar in western Nevada.
