Pumice from Soda Lake NV
This sample was collected at Soda Lake, NV, a maar volcano in western Nevada. However, since Soda Lake is a maar type volcano it is unlikely that this pumice was a juvenile product of the eruption of that maar, but was likely deposited by a different eruption and perhaps excavated as an accidental clast during Soda Lake's eruption.
